Historical Society of Dayton Valley

Docent Program

The Historical Society of Dayton Valley has an active docent program. If you would like to volunteer to help staff the museum, learn and teach history, assist with museum acquisitions, clean or do odd jobs, or any other volunteer activity, we have a place for you! We learn, we teach, we help, and we have A LOT of fun!

There is a "docent lecture" at the museum -- training in the history of the Dayton area -- every Saturday at 11 am. The lectures are aimed at docents but are open to all who want to know about Dayton history. For information on upcoming lectures see the latest docent newsletter below or call 775-246-5543 or 775-8765 or email the webmaster.
